I have never seen anything like this. The floral sculptures are unreal, the paths are spotless and there is a new photo spot around every turn — we planned an hour and stayed for three.

Breathtaking from start to finish. Try to time your visit so you see it in daylight and again as the lights come on — it feels like two different gardens. The giant plane covered in flowers is the moment everyone stops to take photos, and the kids loved the butterflies just as much. Bring comfortable shoes and give yourself at least two hours, realistically three, because you will not want to rush it.

Dubai Miracle Garden is in Al Barsha South, Dubai, and Dubai Butterfly Garden sits right next to it — a few minutes' walk apart.

By car: Both gardens are easily reached by car and have designated parking. Parking is paid with a Dubai Miracle Garden ticket and included with a Butterfly Garden ticket.

By public transport: Take the metro to Mall of the Emirates station, then bus 105, which drops you directly at Dubai Miracle Garden.

By taxi: Taxis and ride-hailing apps reach the gardens from anywhere in Dubai — most drivers know the location.

Dubai Miracle Garden: daily, 09:00 to 21:00.

Dubai Butterfly Garden: daily, 09:00 to 18:00.

Come in the late afternoon if you'd like to see the garden in daylight and again once the lights come on.

Your ticket: On your phone — it is scanned at the entrance.

Valid photo ID: Please carry it with you. ID is also needed for children under 3, who enter free.

Comfortable shoes: Seeing everything takes around two hours on foot.

Casual, appropriate clothing is welcome in both gardens. Beachwear is not allowed.

Both gardens suit visitors of all ages, including expecting mothers. Children under 3 do not need a ticket — please bring ID for them.

Outside food and drinks, glassware and alcohol are not allowed in either garden. Food and drink are available to buy on site.

Tickets are non-refundable. A Dubai Miracle Garden ticket is valid for one-time admission within 30 days of purchase, at any time during opening hours.
